The 2.0.3.005 (or 2.0.3.5) update contained a multitude of balance changes to weapons and debuffs, along with rewriting several tooltips and Town NPC dialogues. It also reworked several accessories and weapons, including the Magna Striker line, and fixed a few bugs from previous updates.

This update also ported the mod to October patch of tModLoader, version 2023.8.3.0.

Aquatic Scourge

  • Changed the animation of acid mists to make them more visible.

Astrum Aureus

  • Decreased Astral Infection duration on contact from 4 seconds to 3.33.
  • Decreased Astral Infection duration from lasers from 1 second to 0.75, and from flame crystals from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.
  • Decreased Aureus Spawn Astral Infection duration from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.
  • Now takes 65% damage from The Ballista's greatarrows.

Astrum Deus

  • Decreased Astral Infection duration from the head from 4 seconds to 3.33, from the body from 2 seconds to 1.67, and from the tail from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.
  • Decreased Astral Infection duration from lasers from 1 second to 0.75, from helix lasers from 1.5 seconds to 1.25, and from mines from 1.5 seconds to 1.25.

  • Decreased God Slayer Inferno duration from the head from 5 seconds to 3.33, from the body from 4 seconds to 2.67, and from the tail from 3 seconds to 2.
  • Decreased God Slayer Inferno duration from Cosmic Guardian head from 3 seconds to 2, from the body from 2 seconds to 1.33, and from the tail from 1.5 seconds to 1.
  • Decreased God Slayer Inferno duration from fireballs from 4 seconds to 2.67, and from lasers from 3 seconds to 2.
  • Lasers fired from body segments are now faster.

  • Now has a short delay before firing skulls after the spin attack ends, and skulls no longer have a random spread.

  • Supreme Soul Seekers now take 50% damage from Subsuming Vortex instead of 60%.

Yharon, Dragon of Rebirth

  • Decreased Dragonfire duration on contact from 4 seconds to 2.

  • Split Yharon fireballs are now translucent when spawned to show that they don't deal damage, and now spawn dust and play a sound to indicate when they can deal damage.

Armor and Accessories

  • Buffed The Absorber, Grand Gelatin, and Vital Jelly's movement speed and jump speed boosts from 10% to 12%.
  • Celestial Shell, Celestial Stone, and Moon Stone no longer grant immunity to Nightwither; they now reduce the damage over time by 50%.
  • Celestial Shell, Celestial Stone, and Sun Stone no longer grant immunity to Holy Flames; they now reduce the damage over time by 50%.
  • Nerfed Celestial Tracers' movement speed boost from 14% to 12%, and run acceleration from 8.5 to 8.
  • Corrosive Spine, Electrician's Glove, Feather Crown, Forbidden Circlet set bonus, Moonstone Crown, Nanotech, Shadow Potion, Titan Heart armor set bonus, and Umbraphile armor set bonus now proc stealth strike projectile effects on the first 3 hits of a projectile instead of the first 5.
  • Corrupt Flask now grants immunity to Brain Rot instead of Cursed Inferno.
  • Nerfed Drew's Wings' horizontal speed from 12 to 11.5, and horizontal acceleration from 3 to 2.9. Reduced its vertical acceleration.
  • Nerfed Elysian Tracers' movement speed boost from 20% to 16%, run acceleration from 9.25 to 8.5, horizontal speed from 10.5 to 10, and horizontal acceleration from 2.75 to 2.7. Reduced its falling acceleration and maximum vertical speed.
  • Buffed Feather Crown's feather damage from 15 to 25.
  • Decreased Giant Tortoise Shell's dash velocity penalty from 15% to 10%.
  • Nerfed Glove of Precision's rogue damage boost from 13% to 10%, and rogue velocity boost from 25% to 15%.
  • Rebalanced Glove of Recklessness. Decreased rogue damage penalty from 13% to 10%, but it now decreases rogue critical strike chance by 10%.
  • Lumenous Amulet now additionally grants immunity to Riptide.
  • MOAB now inherits Lucky Horseshoe's 0.05 luck boost.
  • Nerfed Nanotech's nano flare damage from 125 to 120.
  • Necklace of Vexation's damage boost can now trigger when at exactly 50% health.
  • Ornate Shield's ram now inflicts Frostbite for 3 seconds instead of Frostburn for 5 seconds.
  • Nerfed Quiver of Nihility's void field damage boost from 100% to 75%.
  • Reaver armor's thorn body and tip now share the same ID-static immunity frame timers.
  • Nerfed Seraph Tracers' movement speed boost from 24% to 18%, run acceleration from 10 to 9, horizontal speed from 12 to 11, and horizontal acceleration from 3 to 2.8. Reduced all vertical speed stats.
  • Nerfed Silva Wings' horizontal speed from 11 to 10.5. Reduced all vertical speed stats.
  • Nerfed The Sponge's damage reduction boost while the shield is up from 30% to 10%.

Weapons

  • Rebalanced Adamantite Repeater. Nerfed damage from 61 to 42, but buffed use time from 18 to 14.
  • Buffed Aetherflux Cannon's damage from 247 to 285, and mana cost from 8 to 7.
  • Rebalanced Alpha Ray. Buffed damage from 130 to 160, but nerfed mana cost from 5 to 8.
  • Amarok and Frost Staff no longer inflict Frostburn for 3 seconds.
  • Anarchy Blade's ability to instantly kill normal enemies now works at exactly 50% health.
  • Rebalanced Anti-materiel Rifle. Critical hits now spawn 5 extra bullets instead of 8, but extra bullets now deal 20% base damage instead of 10%.
  • Aorta now inflicts Burning Blood for 2 seconds from yoyo, and 1 second from blood projectiles.
  • Nerfed Aquashard Shotgun's damage from 14 to 9, and use time from 26 to 30.
  • Aquatic Discharge's shortsword now grants 8 local immunity frames.
  • Rebalanced Arterial Assault. Nerfed damage from 128 to 110, and it no longer converts Wooden Arrows into Bloodfire Arrows. However, it now causes all arrows fired by the bow to home instead of only converted Wooden Arrows, and slightly increased its homing range.
  • Nerfed Astral Bow's damage from 99 to 92, use time from 5 to 6, and use animation from 15 to 18.
  • Nerfed Ataraxia's damage from 455 to 432.
  • Atlantis' main and side spears now share the same ID-static immunity frame timers.
  • Buffed Atlas Munitions Beacon's damage from 150 to 200.

  • Nerfed Belching Saxophone, mists now grant 10 effective local immunity frames instead of 3, and now inflict Irradiated instead of Acid Venom.
  • Blade of Grass and Thorn Chakram no longer have a guaranteed chance to inflict Poisoned for 3.5 seconds.
  • Nerfed Bladedge Railbow's damage from 35 to 30, and use time from 26 to 29.
  • Nerfed Blazing Star's damage from 129 to 70 and stealth strike damage modifier from 155% to 140%.

  • Rebalanced Cosmic Shiv. Nerfed damage from 218 to 109, but main projectile now deals 100% base damage instead of 50%. Main projectile no longer travels in a sinusoidal pattern or loses Y velocity as it travels, now spawns 2 blades on hit instead of 3, and explosions now deal 150% main projectile damage instead of 180%. Blades no longer have their damage divided by 15 on the first hit, now grant 5 local immunity frames instead of 0 immunity frames, and now deal 80% main projectile damage instead of 100%. Stars now have 2 extra updates, and deal 100% main projectile damage instead of 50%. The shortsword now grants 8 local immunity frames.
  • Nerfed Daedalus Stormbow's damage from 38 to 30.
  • Buffed Daemon's Flame's damage from 135 to 150.
  • Dank Staff's minions now inflict Brain Rot for 1.5 seconds.
  • Nerfed Eclipse's Fall's damage from 540 to 500, and use time from 21 to 22. Normal main spears now spawn 3-4 small spears instead of 3-5, and small spears now deal 40% main spear damage instead of 40-50%. Stealth strike main spear now spawns small spears every 10-12 frames instead of 8-12, and small spears now deal 20% main spear damage instead of 25%.
  • Nerfed Effervescence's damage from 64 to 60, and mana cost from 17 to 20.
  • Elemental Shiv's shortsword now grants 8 local immunity frames.
  • Buffed Elf Melter's damage from 84 to 94.
  • Buffed Empyrean Knives' damage from 207 to 230.

  • Rebalanced Flak Toxicannon. Nerfed damage from 60 to 51 and use time from 8 to 11, but it can now be shot in a slightly wider angle. Shots now always spawn 1-2 droplets instead of having a 33% chance to spawn 1-3, and droplets now last 5 seconds instead of 7.
  • Flamelash no longer has a guaranteed chance to inflict On Fire! for 5 seconds.
  • Buffed Flarewing Bow, flare bats now start homing after 8 frames instead of 10, and can home in from a slightly larger distance.
  • Nerfed Flesh of Infidelity's damage from 27 to 15.
  • Flower of Fire no longer has a guaranteed chance to inflict On Fire! for 3 seconds.
  • Nerfed Flying Dragon's damage from 180 to 150, and projectiles now pierce twice instead of four times.
  • Buffed Frostbrand's damage from 66 to 88. The sword now inflicts Frostbite instead of Frostburn, and projectiles no longer inflict Frostburn for 3 seconds.
  • Frostburn Arrow no longer has a guaranteed chance to inflict Frostburn for 1 second.
  • Rebalanced Gael's Greatsword. Buffed damage from 650 to 670, but nerfed use time from 12 to 13. Small skulls no longer pierce. Large skulls now travel slightly faster.
  • Galaxia changes:
    • Buffed Phoenix's Pride attunement damage from 800 to 1050.
    • Buffed Aries' Wrath attunement damage from 950 to 1325, and increased its range.
    • Buffed Andromeda's Stride attunement damage from 2200 to 2800, charge up time from 4.16 seconds to 3, and maximum charge up damage modifier from 450% to 700%.
    • Buffed Polaris' Gaze attunement damage from 1200 to 1800, and full charge damage from 1900 to 3600. It now takes 5.41 seconds to charge up instead of 5.68, and increased how fast enemy hits make it charge.
  • Rebalanced Galileo Gladius. Nerfed damage from 110 to 92 and use time from 8 to 10, but projectiles now deal 60% base damage instead of 33.33%, and pierce infinitely instead of 11 times. The shortsword now grants 8 local immunity frames.
  • Rebalanced Gods' Paranoia. Buffed damage from 98 to 142, but nerfed use time from 15 to 20. Stealth strikes now have a 70% damage modifier. Spiky balls can no longer home through tiles, and decreased how fast they home. Darts now deal 33% base damage and knockback instead of 50%, and spawn every 30 frames instead of 20 on normal throws. They still spawn every 20 frames on stealth strikes.
  • Nerfed Grand Staff of the Nebula Mage's mana cost from 30 to 60.
  • Nerfed Halley's Inferno's damage from 1350 to 1125, and it now pierces 3 times instead of 9.
  • Rebalanced Hallowed Repeater. Nerfed damage from 57 to 50, but buffed use time from 14 to 12.
  • Buffed Handgun's use time from 27 to 22.
  • Nerfed Heavenly Gale's damage from 221 to 215.
  • Nerfed Helium Flash's mana cost from 26 to 40.
  • Nerfed Heresy's damage from 990 to 960, and mana cost from 10 to 15.
  • Buffed Hypothermia, it now inflicts Frostbite instead of Frostburn, and increased Glacial State duration from stealth strikes from 2 seconds to 2.5.
  • Nerfed Ice Boomerang's damage from 25 to 21. It no longer has a 50% backup chance to inflict Frostburn for 1 second.
  • Rebalanced Ice Bow. Nerfed damage from 117 to 39, but buffed use time from 35 to 14. It now inflicts Frostbite instead of Frostburn.
  • Ice Sickle now inflicts Frostbite instead of Frostburn. Projectiles now have an extra update.
  • Nerfed Influx Waver's damage from 82 to 80, and use time from 20 to 25.
  • Buffed Jack 'O Lantern Launcher, projectiles now take 0.5 seconds longer to be affected by gravity.
  • Rebalanced Last Prism. Nerfed damage from 75 to 57, but buffed mana cost from 12 to 10.
  • Rebalanced Light God's Brilliance. Buffed damage from 100 to 111, but nerfed mana cost from 4 to 6.
  • Rebalanced Lucrecia. Nerfed use time from 25 to 30, immunity frames granted from the DNA from 6 to 3, and total DNA segments from 12-13 to 7. Buffed velocity from 2 to 4.2, the shortsword now grants 8 local immunity frames, and DNA now grants 12 ID-static immunity frames instead of 5 global immunity frames.
  • Buffed Magnomaly Cannon, rockets now start homing from a farther distance.
  • Buffed Marksman Bow's damage from 30 to 35. Converted Jester's Arrows can now pass through tiles.
  • Rebalanced Meowmere. Buffed damage from 200 to 240, but projectiles now pierce twice instead of four times, and grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 10.
  • Rebalanced Meowthrower. Nerfed damage from 48 to 37, and use time from 5 to 8. It now fires 1 flame instead of 1-2, and now alternates between its two different flame types instead of picking between them randomly. Flames now travel slightly farther, and now grant 10 ID-static immunity frames instead of 8 global immunity frames, but now pierce 4 times instead of infinitely.
  • Rebalanced Meteor Fist. Buffed use time from 30 to 15, and stealth strikes now have a 380% damage modifier. However, stealth strikes now only create an explosion on the last hit, and now lose 50% damage every time they bounce.
  • Rebalanced Mythril Repeater. Nerfed damage from 58 to 39, but buffed use time from 19 to 16.
  • Nerfed Nano Purge's damage from 73 to 60, and mana cost from 6 to 8.
  • Nerfed Nebulash's damage from 78 to 60.
  • Nerfed Night's Ray's damage from 24 to 17.
  • Rebalanced Nuclear Fury. Buffed damage from 114 to 140, but nerfed mana cost from 13 to 22, and projectiles now pierce twice instead of infinitely.

Drone's ability to always critically strike an enemy inflicted with Plague is now disabled if the player has Alchemical Flask or Daawnlight Spirit Origin equipped.

    Reworks

    • Reworked Abaddon, it no longer grants immunity to Brimstone Flames or Searing Lava. It now greatly reduces the damage over time of Brimstone Flames, and increases critical strike chance by 10%. Landing a critical strike creates an explosion that inflicts Brimstone Flames for 6 seconds. This explosion deals 10% damage with a soft cap of 35, and has a 0.25 second cooldown.
    • Reworked Aero Stone, it no longer increases movement speed, jump speed, and flight time by 10%. It now increases flight time by a flat 35 frames, and regenerates 1 frame of flight time every 5 frames while not flying or gliding. This flight recovery is disabled while the Featherfall buff is active.
    • Reworked Arc Nova Diffuser, it no longer fires a random assortment of bullets and opal strikes, and no longer consumes any ammo. Holding left click will now charge up the weapon to fire a rapid fire burst of nova blasts. Nova blasts pierce infinitely but lose 12% damage on each hit, and inflict Cursed Inferno for 1.5 seconds. The longer it is charged up, the more blasts are fired. Once charged up for 2.6 seconds, the weapon will fire more nova blasts at a faster rate. The weapon can continue to be charged past this point, and once charged up for 3.86 seconds, becomes fully charged. When fully charged, the rapid fire burst of nova blasts is replaced with a single extremely fast nova beam that hits once, deals 20x base damage, and inflicts Cursed Inferno for 15 seconds. Buffed damage from 50 to 172 and knockback from 2.25 to 4, but nerfed use time from 5 to 9 and shot speed from 15 to 12.
    • Reworked Calamari's Lament, it no longer hovers above enemies and fires piercing ink projectiles. Squid minions now hover nearby the player and fire homing ink projectiles from a large distance at enemies. Ink projectiles no longer pierce, but will only hit the enemy being targeted. If the player gets close to enemies, the squids will latch onto them, dealing 150% damage and granting 30 local immunity frames.
    • Reworked Cursed Dagger, daggers no longer bounce, and stealth strike daggers no longer shower cursed fireballs. It now throws a fast dagger along with 2 slower, weaker daggers. Daggers pierce once, dealing 80% damage on the second hit. Stealth strikes now throw one dagger that creates a lingering cursed flame vortex on hit. Buffed damage from 34 to 46 and shot speed from 12 to 19, but nerfed use time from 8 to 18. Stealth strikes now have a 75% damage modifier.
    • Reworked Flame-Licked Shell, it no longer decreases movement speed, deals damage to enemies and increases movement speed when hit, or grants immunity to Armor Crunch. It now grants immunity to Searing Lava, and allows the player to parry attacks by pressing the Activate Accessory Parry key. Parrying an attack reduces its damage by 90%, and releases a ring of brimstone darts and an arc of brimstone hellblasts from the player. The hellblast arc will aim towards the nearest enemy, or towards the cursor if no enemies are nearby. The parry's damage reducing effect has a 20 second cooldown. Parrying while on cooldown will only release the brimstone dart ring. It no longer grants 36 defense.
    • Reworked Ichor Spear, stealth strikes no longer shower ichor shots. It now throws a fast ichor javelin which pierces 5 times and grants 50 local immunity frames. Stealth strikes now stick to enemies, dealing repeated damage. Buffed damage from 84 to 132 and knockback from 6 to 7, but nerfed use time from 20 to 39 and shot speed from 20 to 17. Stealth strikes now have a 33% damage modifier.
    • Reworked Leviathan Ambergris, it no longer provides increased damage, defense, and movement speed or a damaging aura while in liquids, increases stats outside of liquids, or leaves behind a trail of poisonous seawater. It now increases dash velocity by 15%, and grants 5% damage reduction while dashing. While dashing, the player is surrounded by a seawater trail that deals damage, causes heavy knockback, and inflicts the Wet and Riptide debuffs.
    • Reworked Magna Cannon, it no longer fires slow blasts of energy, and now deals ranged damage instead of magic. It is now charged up by holding left click to fire a rapid fire burst of crystal bolts. The longer it is charged up, the more bolts are fired. The weapon takes 2.26 seconds to fully charge, and when fully charged, shoots even more bolts at a faster rate. Buffed damage from 26 to 30, but nerfed knockback from 3.5 to 2.5 and shot speed from 12 to 10.
    • Reworked Mutated Truffle, it is now a summon weapon instead of an accessory. Only one Younger Duke can be summoned, and it requires 3 minion slots to summon. The Younger Duke cycles between 3 attacks: charging rapidly at enemies, shooting tooth balls which explode into homing teeth projectiles after 2 seconds, and spinning around while summoning a large vortex that can slowly chase enemies. The minion deals 125% base damage while charging. Nerfed damage from 1200 to 275.
    • Reworked Opal Striker, it no longer fires bursts of rapid fire opal strikes, and no longer consumes any ammo. It now fires a fast opal bolt which pierces once and inflicts On Fire! for 1 second. Holding left click will charge up the weapon for up to 1.3 seconds. When fully charged, the opal bolt travels even faster, pierces twice, deals 600% base damage but loses 20% damage on each hit, and inflicts On Fire! for 5 seconds. Buffed damage from 9 to 37, knockback from 0 to 4, and shot speed from 6 to 12, but nerfed use time from 5 to 17.
    • Reworked Phantasmal Ruin, it no longer fires a lance that emits spirits as it travels, and stealth strikes no longer emit spectral clones. It now fires a fast ghost lance that explodes into 4 homing souls on enemy hits. Stealth strikes now pierce twice, summoning homing souls from below on each hit. Nerfed damage from 955 to 145 and shot speed from 14.5 to 12, but buffed use time from 35 to 30 and stealth strike damage modifier from 122% to 185%.
    • Reworked Plantation Staff, it no longer randomly fires seeds, bouncing thorn balls, and spore clouds at enemies, and no longer enrages and charges at enemies when below 75% health. The Mini Plantera minion now cycles between 3 attacks. It first fires thorn balls that stick to enemies and hit twice, then rapidly fires seeds at enemies. It will then spawn spore clouds around it, grow tentacles, and begin rapidly charging at enemies. When it finishes charging, the tentacles detach and home in on enemies. Buffed damage from 55 to 58.
    • Reworked Profaned Soul Crystal. It now has an empowered state that is triggered by having no other minions summoned, and is no longer nerfed when using Endogenesis or Temporal Umbrella. Its enraged state is now triggered at nighttime instead of when below 50% health. The Offensive Guardian now cycles between three attacks: charging back and forth while spawning homing spears, firing holy blasts from below that explode into homing holy fires, and firing a barrage of holy spears from below. The Healer Guardian now always heals every 5 seconds, and while empowered, fires rings of cocoon stars from above enemies. Rogue weapons now spawn 3 rings of crystal shards while empowered. Using whip attacks now causes a large profaned crystal whip to be fired. This whip increases summon damage by 20% on tagged enemies, 40% while empowered, and grants a buff to the player for 30 seconds. While the player has the buff, the Offensive Guardian stays in each of its attack phases for longer, charges faster, fires three holy blasts at once, and fires spears faster with a higher velocity, while the Healer Guardian gains the ability to fire two sweeping holy rays every 20 seconds.
    • Reworked Reality Rupture, it no longer trails rising stardust shards when traveling or explodes into stardust shards, and stealth strikes no longer accumulate stardust shards as they travel. It now alternates between throwing 3 small homing spears which pierce twice, and 1 piercing lance which deals 400% base damage but loses 5% damage on each hit. Stealth strikes now throw a single fast reality-fracturing lance which explodes on hit. Buffed damage from 186 to 225 and knockback from 6 to 9, but nerfed use time from 30 to 43 and shot speed from 20 to 10. Stealth strikes now have a 390% damage modifier.
    • Reworked Spear of Destiny, it no longer always throws 3 spears with the outer 2 having homing, and stealth strikes no longer make all spears home and pierce more. It now alternates between throwing 3 small homing spears and 1 piercing lance which deals 300% base damage but loses 10% damage on each hit. Small spears now have 2 extra updates, but lose 20% damage on each hit and no longer inflict Ichor. Stealth strikes now throw a single fast holy lance which explodes on hit. Buffed damage from 26 to 50, but nerfed use time from 20 to 45 and shot speed from 20 to 10. Stealth strikes now have a 400% damage modifier.
    • Reworked Speed Blaster, it now fires one paintball per shot instead of rapidly firing six shots in a burst. Paintball shots now have a shorter range and higher inaccuracy by default, and are visually adjusted to drop paint on death. Right clicking while holding down movement keys will perform a short dash in the direction being traveled, and fires an extremely fast paint shot that deals 450% base damage. After dashing, the fire rate, velocity, and accuracy of paint shots are greatly increased for 5 seconds. The right click dash has a 5 second cooldown. Buffed damage from 34 to 40, and use time from 24 to 10.
    • Reworked Void of Extinction, it no longer increases damage by 12%, grants lava immunity, immunity to several debuffs, makes projectiles rain from the sky occasionally and when hit, or makes attacks inflict Brimstone Flames. It now greatly reduces the damage over time of Brimstone Flames, and increases critical strike chance by 16%. Landing a critical strike creates an explosion that inflicts Brimstone Flames for 6 seconds. This explosion deals 10% damage with a soft cap of 35, and has a 0.25 second cooldown. It no longer grants 12 defense.
