The Angler Earring is an accessory that increases the player's current Fishing Power by 10 when equipped. The Angler Earring can be acquired as a 1/34 (2.94%) chance reward for completing a fishing quest for the Angler NPC, depending on the number of completed quests and other factors (for details, see Angler).

The Angler will not give the player an Angler Earring as a reward if they already have one in their inventory or in any of their portable storage items or loadouts. However, if the player has all of the Angler's fishing and informational accessories (or their upgrades like the Angler Tackle Bag and Fish Finder) in their inventories, this rule will be ignored.

Notes

• The Angler Earring's fishing power increase stacks with that of the Angler Tackle Bag and Lavaproof Tackle Bag, granting a total boost of 30% if all three are equipped.
• The High Test Fishing Line, Angler Earring, and Tackle Box are interchangable with Shimmer.
