The Vein Burster is a craftable Pre-Hardmode broadsword that also drops from The Perforators. When swung, it fires a small spherical projectile that deals damage to the target hit and sticks to the first surface it touches. After sticking onto a surface for 4 seconds, it explodes - emitting red projectiles and dealing damage to all enemies in a small radius. Both the weapon and blood balls inflict the Burning Blood debuff. It is the Crimson counterpart to the Perfect Dark.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
