Use

The Axe of Purity is a craftable Hardmode axe that is the direct upgrade to the Feller of Evergreens. When used with its primary fire (left-click), it can be used like a normal axe, but when used with its secondary fire (right-click), it emits light particles when swung and fires damaging Purification Powder that spreads The Purity and deals 85% of the axe's damage.

Its best modifier is Light for harvesting purposes and Legendary for combat purposes.

Notes

• The Axe of Purity can purify a Tortured Soul.
• The Axe of Purity cannot spread Purity to The Hallow.
• The Magma Stone shows the true range of this weapon's particles.

Tips

• The Axe of Purity is available to craft as soon as Hardmode starts and has a rather high axe power of 125%, being roughly as powerful as the Shroomite Digging Claw; as a result, its usefulness maintains itself well into Hardmode before being replaceable by stronger tools.
• The Axe of Purity can fire an additional projectile from Luxor's Gift with the right click ability.

Trivia

• The Purification effect of the axe is a reference to the Gloriana Wrath from the Tremor Mod.
