Fantasy Talismans are craftable consumable Hardmode rogue weapons. When used, they throw a talisman that latches onto enemies and sticks there, periodically releasing homing souls that deal 50% of the talisman's base damage. Up to three talismans can be stuck to an enemy at once.

Performing a stealth strike with Fantasy Talismans causes the resulting talisman to deal 80% damage and release additional souls once latched on, as well as making that talisman release lingering souls as it travels that deal 80% damage each. Additionally, homing souls spawned from latching talisman deal 40% damage.

The Fantasy Talisman cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • Souls now home towards the closest enemy instead of the earliest enemy in the NPC array.
    • Nerfed damage from 93 to 82 and shot speed from 18 to 16.5.
    • Now uses 3 Solar Veils in its recipe instead of 2, and now yields 150 instead of 100.
    • Stealth strikes now have an 80% damage modifier.
    • Now uses 1 Silk and 1 Ectoplasm in its recipe instead of 3 and 5, and now yields 100 instead of 150.
    • Fixed souls facing the wrong direction when thrown to the left during a stealth strike.
  • Added a sprite to its lost soul projectile.
    • Buffed damage from 80 to 93.
    • Recipe now yields 150 instead of 100.
    • Nerfed damage from 90 to 80 and use time from 14 to 16.
    • Now uses 2 Solar Veils, 5 Ectoplasm, and 3 Silk in its recipe instead of 1 Solar Veil and 1 Ectoplasm, and now yields 100 instead of 5.
