The Evil Smasher is a Hardmode broadsword that is obtained by breaking 12 Demon Altars or Crimson Altars. Upon killing an enemy, the weapon gains 10% increased damage, attack speed and knockback. This stacks up to 10 times. Using another item will remove the stacks. Getting hit by an enemy will remove 1 stack.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
