The Alula Australis is a Hardmode wand that drops from Astrum Aureus. It fires an aurora beam that travels in a cosine pattern. As the beam travels, homing Astral stars trail the beam and rain down from the sky. Astral stars' damage and knockback are randomized from 25% to 75% of their base values. Both the aurora beam and the astral stars inflict the Astral Infection debuff.
Its best modifier is Mythical.

- Alula Australis is an alternate name given to the star system "Xi Ursae Majoris", which was the first binary star system ever discovered.
