The Black Anurian is a Pre-Hardmode magic weapon that is obtained from Ancient Treasure Chests in the Abyss. When used, it shoots violet bubbles that travel in an upward arc, alongside two homing planktons which are fired in a random spread and deal 75% of the weapon's damage.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

• This weapon can also be obtained from the Hydrothermal and Sulphurous Crate after either The Slime God or Wall of Flesh have been defeated.

Trivia

• Its name is a reference to the biological order which frogs belong to, known as "Anura". This is reflected in the weapon's frog-like appearance.
