Use
The Nitro Express Rifle is a craftable Hardmode gun. When used, it converts Musket Balls into high-velocity nitro shots, which pierce four times and cause the player to recoil.
Its best modifier is Unreal.

- In real life, Nitro Express refers to a series of rifle cartridges used in large-bore hunting rifles.

- 2.1.0:
- Bullets now grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 10 global immunity frames.
- No longer uses point-blank.
- Moved Essence of Havoc to the bottom of its recipe.
- Decreased sell price from 2 40
to 2 . - Fixed recoil being affected by the bullet's projectile velocity.

- Nerfed damage from 1350 to 210 and knockback from 8.5 to 7.5, but buffed use time from 80 to 70.
