The Mycoroot is a Pre-Hardmode dagger that is dropped by Crabulon. When used, it auto-fires a continuous stream of short-range fungal roots. The fungal roots cannot pierce enemies, nor can they pass through walls.

Performing a stealth strike with the Mycoroot causes a large amount of fungi spores to burst out of the player. These fungi spores home into nearby enemies shortly after. Additionally, all players within a 50-tile radius including the user gains the Mushy buff for 15 seconds.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

Tips

• Its insanely fast rate of fire gives it good synergy with the Shark Tooth Necklace and Luxor's Gift.
