The Abyss Shocker is a Pre-Hardmode magic gun dropped by Box Jellyfish and Mirage Jellies after Skeletron has been defeated. It fires an erratic lightning bolt that travels very quickly on a semi-randomized path, leaving an aesthetic lingering trail. The lightning homes in on enemies and bounces to another nearby enemy on contact, though each bolt is unable to bounce to an enemy it has already hit unless there are no other new targets for it to jump to. It inflicts the Electrified debuff on every enemy hit.

Its best modifier is Mythical. However, the weapon's knockback will not be affected due to already being 0.
