The Veering Wind is a craftable Pre-Hardmode spell tome which is an alternative to the Frost Bolt. When used with left-click, it fires an even ring of 24 fast air waves which travel outwards from the player and deals heavy knockback. When used with right-click, frost waves are fired instead with 20% knockback, 25% velocity, and 50% attack speed of the air waves. However, the frost waves inflict Frostburn and Glacial State debuffs on hits.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
