Use

The Golden Gun was a craftable Hardmode classless weapon. It functioned similarly to the Golden Shower, firing ichor projectiles that travelled in a straight line which were not affected by gravity and inflicted the Ichor debuff. Its damage stat could not be increased by any class damage bonuses, and it could not deal critical strikes. It did not consume any ammo or mana.

The Golden Gun could not be reforged, and therefore could not have modifiers.

Notes

• As this weapon did not count as a specific weapon type, it did not provide the penalty on minions' damage when holding a non-summoner weapon, making it an indispensable asset for summon-based characters.

Tips

• This weapon was useful to weaken bosses regardless of the player's choice of class.
