Use

The Golden Gun is a craftable Hardmode classless weapon. It functions similarly to the Golden Shower, firing ichor projectiles that travel in a straight line which are not affected by gravity and inflict the Ichor debuff. Its damage stat cannot be increased by any class damage bonuses and cannot deal critical strikes. It does not consume any ammo or mana.

The Golden Gun cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.

Notes

• As this weapon does not count as a specific weapon type, it does not provoke the penalty on minions' damage when holding a non-summoner weapon, making it an indispensable asset for summon-based characters.

Tips

• This weapon is useful to weaken bosses regardless of the player's choice of class.
