The Psychotic Amulet was a Hardmode accessory that was rarely dropped by Possessed Armors. It benefited both the Rogue and Ranged classes, increasing the damage and critical strike chance of Rogue and Ranged attacks by 5%. Standing still with this accessory equipped will quickly turn the player invisible as if they were wearing Shroomite armor and give them much stronger boosts to rogue and ranged stats. These bonuses rapidly wear off if the player moves again.

Once completely invisible, the player's total bonuses included the following:

  • +25% rogue damage
  • +65% ranged damage
  • +15% ranged and rogue critical strike chance
  • +50% ranged and rogue knockback
  • -750 Aggro

The ranged bonuses offered by this stealth did not stack with Shroomite armor, and having this accessory equipped would have prevented the player from activating the set bonus of the Vortex armor.

The Psychotic Amulet was used later in crafting the Auric Tesla armor, which is a post-Moon Lord armor set.

  • 1.5.0.001: Increased drop rate from 0.5% / 0.67% Expert Mode to 2.5% / 5% Expert Mode.
  • 1.4.2.101: Now boosts rogue damage and critical strike chance instead of melee.
  • 1.4.1.001:
    • Now uses the Rarity Level: 6 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 8.
    • Nerfed damage boost when standing still from 25% to 20%, and critical strike chance boost from 25% to 10%.
  • 1.2.1.005: Nerfed melee damage boost when standing still from 120% to 25%, but buffed critical strike chance boost from 20% to 25%.
