The Cosmic Elemental was a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawned in the Cavern. They behaved the same as Granite Elementals, flying through walls and rolling into a ball when damaged in Expert Mode. Upon death, the Cosmic Elemental had a chance to drop a number of rare swords. The Cosmic Elemental always applied the Confused debuff on hit players for three seconds.

• The Bestiary entry for the Cosmic Elemental: "A curious construct, and though its origins are unknown, it has been decidedly proven that the core of its body leads to somewhere not of our world."

• 2.0.3.001: Removed.

• 2.0.2.002: Now properly displays vanilla debuff colors and Hunter Potion effects.

• 2.0.0.001: Now drops Terragrim instead of Arkhalis.

• 1.5.1.001: Now resistant to sickness debuffs.

  • Decreased Bone Sword drop rate from 10% to 4%.
  • Increased Arkhalis drop rate from 0.1% to 0.5%.

• 1.2.4.201: Nerfed health from 40 / 60 to 25 / 50 , changed damage from 35 / 42 to 25 / 50 , and nerfed defense from 15 to 10.

• 1.2.0.001: Now inflicts Horror for 2.5 seconds in Revengeance Mode.

• 1.1.7.804: Now uses vanilla enemy spawn chance instead of custom one.

• 1.1.7.2: Nerfed health from 70 / 105 to 40 / 60 and defense from 20 to 15.

• 1.1.6.15: Now produces dust when killed.
