The Detonating Flame was a post-Moon Lord boss servant that spawned during the Jungle Dragon, Yharon fight. There were 2 variants.

The fireball variant aggressively flew towards the player and occasionally shot a fireball that inflicted the On Fire! debuff. It was spawned in Yharon's subphases 1 and 3.

The melee variant flew towards the player more slowly than the fireball variant. It dealt more contact damage but did not shoot fireballs. It was spawned in Yharon's subphases 2 and 3.

Both variants were summoned in all subphases of phase 2 after Yharon flew in a loop and summoned a ring of Flare DustHoming Flare Dusts.

  • Up to 3 of each Detonating Flame variant could be spawned at a time in Yharon's fight in Phase 1.
  • Up to 4 of each variant could be spawned at a time in Phase 2.

    • Nerfed variant 2's health from 2500 / 3000 Expert Mode to 2000 / 2000 Expert Mode, buffed damage from 200 / 280 Expert Mode to 300 / 360 Expert Mode, buffed defense from 45 to 120, and increased its size.
    • Can no longer be homed in on, fade in when spawning, and no longer take up half an NPC slot.
    • Now use an immunity frame cooldown slot of 1 instead of the default 0.
