The Lion Heart is a post-Moon Lord true melee broadsword that is sold by the Cyborg for 1 40 after Polterghast has been defeated. When swung, an energy explosion is created on every enemy hit, dealing an additional 100% of the weapon's damage and inflicting the Electrified debuff. When used with the right-click, an energy shell is created around the player that halves all damage for 5 seconds while the weapon is held, with a 45-second cooldown after the shield runs out.
Its best modifier is Legendary.
Trivia
- The weapon is based off the Lion Heart, a "Gunblade" from Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy XIV.
- The right click effect is based off a skill Gunbreakers can use in Final Fantasy XIV, called Superbolide, which negates all damage taken for a short time at the cost of reducing the user's HP to 1.
- The energy explosions are based off the fact that Gunblades can release a large explosion on hit with a pull of its trigger.
