The Rubico Prime is a craftable post-Moon Lord gun that is a direct upgrade to the Pestilent Defiler. When used, a high-velocity round is fired every half-second for a total of 10 times. The bullets pierce all tiles and enemies, dealing 25% more damage during a critical strike.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Trivia

• The weapon itself is a reference to the Rubico Prime from the video game Warframe.
• While the weapon really fires once every half-second, it has a use time of 300, making it the slowest use time weapon in the Calamity Mod, alongside the Ice Barrage.
