Use

The Floodtide is a craftable Hardmode broadsword that autoswings. It can also be obtained by fishing after Leviathan and Anahita have been defeated and while under the effect of the Gills buff. When swung, it fires two sharks which deal damage to enemies on contact.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Notes

• It can only be caught at a 1/25 (4%) chance when fishing with between 60 and 160 fishing power and having the Gills buff.

Trivia

• The weapon's design is partially based on The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a famous Japanese painting depicting a massive wave.
• The weapon replaced Mariana in Terratomere's crafting recipe after the introduction of the Aquatic Dissolution.

  • Buffed damage from 75 to 91.
  • Now fished up after defeating Anahita and Leviathan instead of Calamitas Clone.
