The Frostcrush Valari is a craftable Hardmode rogue boomerang that is a direct upgrade to the Kylie. When used, it throws a slow-moving boomerang that travels a long distance before returning to the player. When contacting an enemy, several gravity-affected ice shards are released from the boomerang that deal 35% of the boomerang's base damage. The boomerang inflicts the Frostbite and Glacial State debuffs.

Performing a stealth strike with the Frostcrush Valari will cause three boomerangs with much lower range to be thrown, alongside a spread of slow-moving icicles that deal 44% damage, are very lightly affected by gravity and shatter after about 3 seconds.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

• 2.0.2.001:
  • Nerfed damage from 100 to 89 and use time from 19 to 21.
  • The main boomerang now grants 60 local immunity frames instead of 15.
  • Stealth strikes now have more range but deal 35% base damage instead of 36.67%.
  • Now inflicts Frostbite instead of Frostburn and increased Glacial State duration from 0.5 seconds to 0.75, but it no longer inflicts Crush Depth.
  • Icicle projectiles no longer inflict Frostburn.
  • Decreased sell price from 12 to 9  60 .

• 1.5.1.001:
  • Now uses local immunity frames instead of ID-static immunity frames.
  • Decreased Frostburn duration from boomerang from 4 seconds to 2, Crush Depth duration from 4 seconds to 2, and Glacial State duration from 1 second to 0.5.
  • No longer considered an ice weapon.
