The Forgotten Apex Wand is a craftable Hardmode summon weapon. When used, it summons an Ancient Mineral Shark that follows the player. It attacks nearby enemies by charging and slamming into them which causes a damaging sand explosion, and it will rebound away for a second before attacking again. It has a 33% chance to inflict the Armor Crunch debuff.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage a Mythical Forgotten Apex Wand has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
