The Hyphae Rod is a Pre-Hardmode wand that is dropped by Crabulon. It creates three hovering mushroom spores near the player that damage enemies. These spores last for 3 seconds before dissipating.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Tips

• This weapon is extremely useful for bosses that can move directly into the spores, such as the Hive Mind and Perforators.
  • Additionally, the spores can be stacked before a boss fight to deal a large amount of damage.

Trivia

• Hyphae are long, branching filamentous structures of fungi.
• The created mushrooms are the same as the ones created by the Truffle NPC, while defending himself from enemies.
