The Blood Bath is a craftable Pre-Hardmode wand that is also dropped by The Perforators. When used, it spawns 2-3 blood raindrops from the sky that pierce infinitely but cannot pass through tiles. The raindrops inflict the Burning Blood debuff.
Its best modifier is Mythical.

Notes
- This weapon can be difficult to use in the underground as its projectiles cannot pass through tiles.
Trivia
- If the player has the "Blood and Gore" setting turned off, its projectile trail will look like clouds instead of blood.
- This weapon previously had a Corruption counterpart known as the Shadowdrop Staff.
History
These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
- 2.0.4.001:
- Nerfed damage from 31 to 25, and it now shoots 2-3 blood shots instead of 2-4.
- Blood shots can now pass through tiles above the player, and grant ID-static immunity frames instead of global immunity frames.
- 2.0.3.001: Now uses 3 Crimtane Bars and 9 Blood Samples in its recipe instead of 2 and 8.
- 2.0.2.001:
- Now inflicts Burning Blood for 2 seconds.
- Moved Crimtane Bar to the top of the recipe.
- 1.5.0.003: Buffed damage from 25 to 31.
- 1.4.5.001: Added a sprite to its projectile.
