The Septic Skewer is a post-Moon Lord ranged weapon that is dropped by The Old Duke. When used, it launches a harpoon that pierces infinitely and is unaffected by gravity. The harpoon returns to the player after travelling 125 blocks or upon tile collision, gaining extra speed and randomly releasing bacteria particles on its way back. Bacteria particles deal 40% of the harpoon's damage, can travel through solid blocks, and decelerate to a stop before disappearing after contacting an enemy or five seconds have passed. Both the harpoon and its bacteria inflict the Sulphuric Poisoning debuff.
Its best modifier is Unreal.
