The Oracle

The Oracle is a craftable post-Moon Lord yoyo. While deployed, it emits a yellow aura that constantly damages enemies within a 4-block radius. The aura effectively counts as the yoyo's hitbox (thus also dealing direct hits), despite being visually separate from the yoyo itself. On direct hits, the yoyo emits a red lightning aura that damages nearby enemies, dealing 68 damage per hit, or 150 damage at maximum charge. The red aura's size and damage increase with every direct hit; the damage will continue to rise even after the red aura stops growing. The red aura shrinks and eventually dissipates when not doing direct hits. Once the the red aura is larger than the yellow aura, it starts to fire 3 orbs in a triangular pattern in a random direction every 0.5 seconds. The orbs pierce infinitely, cannot pass through tiles, and they deal 300% of the weapon's damage. The yoyo itself can pass through tiles.
Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both modifiers increase the average damage output by the same amount. However, Ruthless might be preferred if the player already has very high critical strike chance.

Trivia
- An oracle is a person or thing considered to provide insight or foreknowledge; the tooltip also references this concept.
- The Oracle is jokingly referred to within the community as the "Auric gaming mouse" or "Yharim's gaming mouse" due to the weapon's sprite resembling one.

- Buffed damage from 170 to 205, but nerfed aura base damage from 100 to 68, and maximum damage from 220 to 150.
- Yoyo can now pass through tiles, but grants 8 effective local immunity frames instead of 6.
- Yoyo charges its aura faster on hit and can spawn orbs faster, but orbs now have a 0.5 second cooldown.
