Perdition Beacon |
Perdition is a post-Moon Lord summon weapon that is dropped by Supreme Witch, Calamitas. When used, it summons a fire beacon that follows the player around and attempts to stay above the player's head. When an enemy is targeted via right-clicking, a flipped cross will appear on the marked enemy, a large area lights up with fire dust, and various types of homing souls appear from below that do not pierce. There can only be one beacon summoned at a time and the beacon takes up 5 minion slots.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage a Mythical Perdition has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
Trivia
- Perdition is a state of eternal punishment originating from Christianity, that sinful people are sentenced to after death.
