Dead Sun's Wind is a craftable Hardmode flamethrower that uses Gel for ammunition. When used, it fires high-velocity blasts of cosmic plasma that cause explosions on enemy hits, each explosion dealing 150% of the weapon's damage and increasing in size with consecutive hits. The plasma blasts can also ricochet off tiles, after which they gain the ability to home in aggressively on nearby enemies.
Its best modifier is Unreal.

- Reworked:
- Buffed damage from 80 to 100, but nerfed use time from 6 to 22.
- No longer functions like a standard flamethrower.
