Gel Darts are craftable Pre-Hardmode daggers. They start falling after travelling a short distance. They pierce up to three enemies or bounce off tiles three times before breaking on the fourth impact.

Performing a stealth strike with Gel Darts cause the resulting dart to ignore gravity, bounce farther and faster upon tile collision, pierce or bounce an additional two times, and releases streams of slime as it travels.

The Gel Dart cannot be reforged, and therefore cannot have modifiers.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.2.001:
    • Now grants 10 local immunity frames and no longer inflicts Slow.
    • Now uses 2 Blighted Gel in its recipe instead of 6 Gel and 1 Hellstone Bar, and now yields 100 instead of 333.
    • Can no longer be recovered after being thrown.
  • 2.0.1.003: Can now be crafted from 2 Purified Gel, 6 Gel, and 1 Hellstone Bar at a Static Refiner and yields 333.
