The Pulse Rifle is a craftable post-Moon Lord ranged weapon. When used, it fires a purple hitscan beam that dissipates into 4 pulse orbs on enemy hits that deal 50% of the weapon's damage and pierce up to 3 times before dissipating. The pulse orbs briefly pause in place before aggressively tracking nearby enemies and get faster the more enemies they hit. If the target is killed by the pulse orb, the pierce is not used up and the orb gains 1.5 additional seconds of lifetime. If no enemies are present for the pulse orbs to hit, they will travel straight in the direction they are set in.
The weapon consumes 0.24 units of charge per use and has a maximum charge of 250. As such, the weapon can be used continuously from full charge 1041 times, or for 15 minutes and 54 seconds.
Its best modifier is Unreal. However, the weapon's knockback will not be affected due to already being 0.
