Neptune's Bounty is a craftable post-Moon Lord broadsword that autoswings. It is a direct upgrade to the Abyss Blade and the final upgrade to the Depth Crusher. When swung, it fires a small trident that pierces infinitely and regularly rains more small tridents under itself as it travels. The small spawned tridents deal 50% of the weapon's damage, home in on enemies, do not pierce enemies, and burst into a water explosion on contact, dealing additional damage to nearby enemies equal to the projectile itself. Both projectiles burst into damaging water explosions upon impact with tiles. Neptune's Bounty and all its projectiles inflict the Crush Depth debuff.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.2.001: Now uses 6 Reaper Teeth in its recipe instead of 5 Phantoplasm, 15 Depth Cells, 15 Lumenyl, and 5 Tenebris.
  • 1.5.1.001:
    • Decreased Crush Depth duration from tridents from 5 seconds to 3, and from direct hits from 10 seconds to 5.
    • No longer considered a nature weapon.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Nerfed damage from 380 to 251 and homing projectiles now deal 50% base damage.
    • Both the sword and projectiles now grant 10 local immunity frames instead of 1.
