Pulse Pistol
The Pulse Pistol is a craftable Pre-Hardmode magic gun. When used, it fires a pink pulse that is unaffected by gravity. It can bounce onto nearby enemies on hit and pierce twice. The pulse dissipates upon contact with tiles.
The weapon consumes 0.05 units of charge per use and has a maximum charge of 50. As such, the weapon can be used continuously from full charge 1000 times, or for 5 minutes and 33 seconds.
Its best modifier is Mythical. However, the weapon's knockback will not be affected due to already being 0.

The Pulse Pistol cannot be crafted until the Schematic from the Sunken Sea Bio-center Lab is found. If the requirement has not been met, two lines of tooltip are added at the bottom of the item:

Trivia
- The Pulse Pistol was initially a ranged weapon in the trailer for the 1.4.5.001 update.
- The Pulse Pistol is a reference to the weapon of the same name from Fallout 2 and uses the same firing sound effect.
History
- 2.0.4.003: Buffed damage from 23 to 27.
- 2.0.4.001: Nerfed damage from 26 to 23, and use time from 20 to 21.
- 1.5.1.001:
- Now uses 7 Sea Prisms in its recipe instead of 4 Meteorite Bars.
- No longer does more damage to inorganic enemies.
- 1.5.0.003: Buffed damage from 22 to 26.
- 1.5.0.001: Fixed an issue that caused it to lose its charge when reforged.
