The Iridescent Excalibur is a craftable post-Moon Lord broadsword that is the final upgrade to the Greatsword of Judgement. When used with its primary fire (Left Click), it swings like a regular broadsword and fires beams in a fixed looping order, each dealing 50% of the weapon's damage. All colors of beams except light blue do not pierce. The beams have different effects based on their color:
- Red beams have no special effects.
- Orange beams curve back to the player.
- Yellow beams split into 3 red beams after travelling a certain distance.
- Lime beams home back in on the player.
- Green beams home in on enemies.
- Turquoise beams speed up over time and can pass through tiles.
- Cyan beams spawn 3 turquoise beams upon contact with a tile or enemy.
- Light blue beams slow down on enemy hits.
- Blue beams bounce infinitely off of tiles and enemies, then dissipate after some time.
- Purple beams speed up and slow down repeatedly, similarly to a Profaned Guardian spear attack.
- Fuchsia beams start slow but speed up over time.
- Hot pink beams spawn fuchsia beams while travelling, then dissipate after some time.
When used with its secondary fire (Right Click), it instead performs a true melee swing that deals double damage and creates three bright slashes around the blade, which each pierce infinitely and heal the player for 1% of the damage dealt.
True melee attacks and all beams inflict the Miracle Blight debuff, while the sword itself inflicts the Glacial State debuff.
Its best modifier is Legendary.

Trivia
- The Iridescent Excalibur is a reference to the Elemental Excalibur from the Avalon and Exxo Avalon mods for Terraria 1.1.2 and 1.2.4 respectively. The Orderbringer (formerly named Greatsword of Blah), which is a part of the Iridescent Excalibur's recipe, is also a reference to the creator of the Avalon mods, Blahblahbal.
- The internal name of the Iridescent Beam projectile is "Gay Beam". This draws a parallel with the rainbow flag, which represents the LGBTQ community.
