The Cosmic Kunai in use.
The Cosmic Kunai is a post-Moon Lord dagger dropped by Signus, Envoy of the Devourer. It rapidly fires a stream of quick-moving, short-range kunai that pass through tiles and are not affected by gravity. The kunai turn transparent as they travel; however, this does not affect their damage and is only an aesthetic addition. The kunai also very slightly curves toward nearby enemies.
Performing a stealth strike with the Cosmic Kunai will deal 321% damage and cause five cosmic scythes to release around the player alongside the kunai. The scythes will each deal 256.8% damage, linger if no enemies are nearby, sharply home onto enemies, and erupt into an explosion.
Its best modifier is Flawless.

Tips
- The Cosmic Kunai's incredibly high single-target damage has limited usefulness against fast bosses like Storm Weaver and The Devourer of Gods; conversely, the Cosmic Kunai is quite effective versus Blood Moons and other buffed Calamity events due to its strong single-target damage.
Trivia
- In the real world, a kunai is a 14th century Japanese farming tool. Since then, the knife-like shape of the kunai has led to its common depiction as a weapon used by ninjas and assassins.
- This weapon functions very similarly to the Mycoroot.
