The Angelic Shotgun is a craftable post-Moon Lord gun. Each time the weapon is fired, it shoots 5-6 bullets and summons a radiant beam from the sky towards the cursor. The beam deals 250% of the weapon's damage, pierces infinitely and passes through tiles. If Musket Balls are used as ammo, the bullets are replaced with Hallow-Point Rounds. The beam inflicts the Holy Flames debuff.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
  • 2.0.4.003: Nerfed damage from 96 to 92 and use time from 24 to 26. It now fires 5-6 bullets per use instead of 5-7, and lasers now deal 250% base damage instead of 300%.
  • 2.0.4.001:
    • Now uses Hallow-Point Rounds as its Musket Ball convert instead of a special "Illuminated Bullet" projectile. This convert additionally makes it inherit the damage of Hallow-Point Rounds.
    • Increased sell price from 24 Gold Coin to 30 Gold Coin.
  • 1.5.1.001:
    • Buffed Illuminated Bullet velocity multiplier from 2x to 4x.
    • Now inflicts Holy Flames for 2 and 3 seconds instead of 6 and 10 from bullets and beams respectively.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Buffed damage from 90 to 96.
    • Radiant beam projectiles now grant enemies 20 local immunity frames instead of 10.
    • Now only converts Musket Balls.
  • 1.4.3.001:
    • Nerfed damage from 180 to 90, use time from 14 to 26, bullet count from 8 to 5-7, bullet speed from 13 to 12, and laser damage from 500% base damage to 300%.
    • Reduced shotgun spread range by 13.33%.
    • Decreased sell price from 28 Gold Coin to 24 Gold Coin.
    • Fixed laser not benefitting from increased ranged damage.
  • 1.4.2.105:
    • Increased sell price from 60 Silver Coin to 28 Gold Coin.
    • Fixed it not internally using the Rarity Level: 10 rarity.
