The Perfect Dark's swing animation. Notice how the vile balls don't travel in a straight line, but are affected by gravity.

The Perfect Dark is a craftable Pre-Hardmode broadsword that also drops from The Hive Mind. When swung, it fires a small spherical projectile that deals damage to the target hit and sticks to the first surface it touches. After sticking onto a surface for 4 seconds, it explodes - emitting purple particles and dealing damage to all enemies in a small radius. Both the weapon and dark balls inflict the Brain Rot debuff. It is the Corruption counterpart to the Vein Burster.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
