The Acidic Rain Barrel is a craftable Hardmode bomb that is an upgrade to the Blast Barrel. It throws a barrel that rolls across the ground that pierces through all enemies it comes into contact with until it either despawns or hits a wall. Hitting a wall causes the barrel to erupt into shrapnel and acidic raindrops.

Performing a stealth strike with the Acidic Rain Barrel causes the resulting barrel to be able to bounce off walls up to a total of three times, and also causes more shrapnels and raindrops to erupt.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

• Much like the Blast Barrel, this weapon is a reference to the Donkey Kong game series, which frequently features explosive barrels.
