Irradiated is a debuff inflicted by several Sulphurous Sea related weapons and enemies. If inflicted on the player, they will receive various stat decreases. If inflicted on an enemy, their health decreases in addition to causing sickness debuffs to deal more damage over time. This sickness debuff damage buff works as follows:
- If an enemy is neutral to sickness debuffs, they will instead take 2x damage, as if they were vulnerable.
- If an enemy is vulnerable to sickness debuffs, they will take an additional 1.5x damage, increasing the damage multiplier from 2x to 3x.
- If an enemy is resistant to sickness debuffs, the resistance is effectively canceled out. This causes debuffs to deal 1x damage instead of 0.5x.
The player can become immune to Irradiated by equipping the Nuclear Fuel Rod, Star-Tainted Generator, Nucleogenesis or Rusty Medallion accessories.

- Irradiated's name was reverted after being previously known as Acid Rain, which was a debuff inflicted on the player during the Acid Rain event.
History
These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
- 2.0.1.001: No longer grants positive bonuses to the player or decreases the player's movement speed, and instead now causes the player to lose 4 life regeneration.
- 1.5.1.001: Now makes sickness debuffs 5x as effective.

- Now decreases player movement speed by 10% when inflicted.
