The Corpus Avertor is a Hardmode rogue weapon that drops from the Ravager. When used, a translucent black knife is thrown that creates smaller homing red knives as it travels. The red knives pass through blocks, only deal 40% of the Corpus Avertor's base damage, and heal the player for 5% of their damage.

10% of the player's missing health is added to the weapon's base damage.

Performing a stealth strike with the Corpus Avertor throws a translucent rainbow knife that doesn't create smaller knives and deals 350% damage and upon hitting an enemy, gives everyone on the player's team the Avertor Bonus buff which increases damage by 10% and life regen by 4, but has a 1 in 7 chance to cut the player's health in half as well.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

Tips

• This weapon has incredible synergy with the Blood Pact, as the doubled max hp allows for much more hp to be missing, greatly empowering the weapon.

Trivia

• If the player is killed by the the stealth strike's self-damage, the death message "<PlayerName> became the blood god's sacrifice." will display.
