Eutrophication is a debuff that makes the target completely unable to move for its duration. Almost all enemies are susceptible to this debuff, as well as some bosses. It is inflicted by the Apoctolith, Prismalline, Coral Cannon, Eutrophic Scimitar, Clam Crusher, and Abyssal Mirror.

- Eutrophication is when a body of water loses oxygen due to receiving large amounts of nutrients, leading to algae buildup. This prevents air from cycling into the water.
History

- 2.0.3.005: Added new visuals effects when inflicted.
- 2.0.0.001: No longer applied to the player for double the initial duration in Expert Mode or higher.
- 1.5.1.001: Nerfed slowness factor from 0.5x to 0.95x.
- 1.5.0.001: Now grants a 30 second global cooldown on bosses before they can be slowed again.
