Brimstone Flames is a debuff inflicted by many sources throughout the Calamity Mod. If inflicted on an enemy, they lose 30 health per second. If inflicted on the player, they instead lose 15 health per second. When inflicted, it causes the target to emit bright red particles.
If the player has the Abaddon or Void of Extinction equipped, they lose 5 health per second instead of 15. If the target is inflicted with Oiled, they lose 55 health per second instead of 30.
The player can become immune to Brimstone Flames by equipping the Asgard's Valor, Asgardian Aegis, Elysian Aegis accessories, the Brimflame Cowl or a full set of Fearmonger armor.

- Increased damage against the player from 8 per second to 15.
