Wulfrum Droid

The Wulfrum Controller is a craftable Pre-Hardmode summon weapon. When used, it summons a Wulfrum Droid minion that floats by the player and attacks nearby enemies by firing blue energy bolts which cannot pierce but can curve towards nearby enemies. The drone recoils in the opposite direction of its shot while shooting. When holding right-click, Wulfrum Droids stop attacking and are recalled to the closest player from the cursor and grant them 3 defense and 1 life regeneration per existing droid. If the player has the Rover Drive equipped, it is also capable of recovering the protection matrix at a 33.33% chance per attack tick.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage a Mythical Wulfrum Controller has over a Ruthless one is knockback.

    • Buffed damage from 10 to 16.
    • Wulfrum Droid minion now recoils after firing its green projectile at enemies, and can no longer fire at enemies through walls.
    • Now has a right-click function that causes it to become supercharged. While supercharged, any Wulfrum Droids active return to the player and fire a beam at them, increasing the player's defense and life regeneration by 3. This bonus is additive with each Wulfrum Droid active.
