The Maelstrom is a craftable post-Moon Lord bow. When used, it slowly and accurately fires charged reaper sharks which inflict the Crush Depth debuff and are not affected by gravity. Upon contact with enemies or solid tiles, the shark bursts into visual gores and a damaging water explosion.
Its best modifier is Unreal.
