Use

The Hellwing Staff and its several bats being used against target dummies.

The Hellwing Staff is a craftable Pre-Hardmode wand. When used, four non-piercing flaming bats are summoned above the player and fly toward the cursor in a semi-random, generally downward, direction. These bats can travel through tiles and inflict enemies with the On Fire! debuff on hit.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Tips

• This wand is rather useful for lighting areas on your minimap, to look for chests and ores or to clear world evils using the Clentaminator.
