The Wildfire Bloom is a craftable Hardmode flamethrower. When used, it fires a long burst of green flames that pierces three times and is unaffected by liquids but cannot go through tiles. It additionally fires pairs of terra flares which home in on nearby enemies.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

These history sections are still a work-in-progress, and may not yet contain changes relevant to the current version of the Calamity Mod.
    • Renamed from "Terra Flameburster" to "Wildfire Bloom".
    • Flares now home towards the closest enemy instead of the earliest enemy in the NPC array.
    • Resprited it and its backpack sprite.
    • Fixed its backpack sprite sometimes drawing with an incorrect offset.
    • Fixed it having an inconsistent sell price.
    • Buffed damage from 55 to 78 and shot speed from 7.5 to 10, but nerfed use time from 3 to 8.
    • Now fires in long bursts of flames, and additionally fires pairs of homing terra flares.
    • Flames now pierce 3 times instead of infinitely, last 0.4 seconds instead of 0.5, and grant -1 local immunity frames instead of 5 global immunity frames. It no longer inflicts Cursed Inferno.
    • Now has a 50% chance to not consume ammo instead of 80%.
    • Improved its flame visuals.
  • Now uses 12 Living Shards in its recipe instead of 7.
  • Now uses Meowthrower in its recipe.
    • No longer inflicts On Fire!.
    • Decreased Cursed Inferno duration from 2 seconds to 1.5.
    • No longer considered a fire weapon or nature weapon.
  • Decreased Cursed Inferno duration from 5 seconds to 2.
    • Now has a tank behind the player.
    • Adjusted holdout offset.
    • Decreased On Fire! and Cursed Inferno durations from 8.33 seconds to 5.
    • Changed dust type from 74 to 107.
    • Now uses the Rarity Level: 8 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 9.
    • Now uses 5 Essences of Cinder and 7 Living Shards in its recipe instead of 3 Essences of Cinder, 5 Living Shards, and 3 Plague Cell Canisters.
  • Flames now last 0.75 seconds instead of 1.67.
  • Flames now set NPC immunity frames to 5.
  • Flames no longer collide with blocks.
