The Excelsus is a post-Moon Lord broadsword that is dropped by The Devourer of Gods. When swung, three spinning energy swords are thrown from the blade at slightly varying speeds and velocities. They can be blue, pink, or both blue and pink, however they all function identically. They can pierce two enemies before dissipating on the third and slow down when hitting tiles. Striking an enemy directly with the sword will cause a fountain of five fast gravity-affected lasers to spray into the air from the point of contact. All of the Excelsus's projectiles inflict the God Slayer Inferno debuff.
Its best modifier is Legendary.

- Excelsus' name is a reference to a massive robot known as MG Excelsus from the game Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
