The Majestic Guard is a craftable Hardmode broadsword that autoswings. While it does not shoot a projectile, it has a very large range and enough knockback to keep most Hardmode enemies away from the player. Every time it strikes an enemy, its defense will be lowered by 1. If the hit enemy's defense is less than or equal to 0 when struck, the player is healed for 3 HP. This effect works on any enemy, including bosses.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

  • The defense reduction applied by the weapon can stack as long as the enemy's defense is over 0 or they haven't changed their base defense values (e.g. When a boss changes phases).
