The Brackish Flask is a Hardmode bomb that is dropped by the Leviathan and Anahita. When used, it throws a flask that travels a moderate distance before being affected by gravity. When it collides with an enemy or tile, it shatters and releases 8 seawater bubbles in all directions, which then explode into shortly lingering water eruptions after traveling a short distance or colliding with enemies or tiles. The flask, bubbles, and eruptions deal 50% of the weapon's damage and inflict the Acid Venom debuff.

Performing a stealth strike with the Brackish Flask causes it to deal 85% damage and release a large spear spike upwards from the point of impact that passes through tiles and pierces infinitely. The spear spike functions similarly to the projectile fired by the Atlantis. The spear spike deals 85% damage while other projectiles deal 42.5% damage.

Its best modifier is Flawless.

Notes

  • Due to the fact that the bubble projectiles are released in all directions, several of them will often immediately explode against the area that the flask initially impacted.

  • Brackish is a term used to describe water that is a mix between fresh and salty.
  • The weapon's spear projectile is named "Not Atlantis Spear".

  • 2.0.4.001: Water blasts now grant ID-static immunity frames instead of global immunity frames.
  • 2.0.3.007: Fixed its spears recurring infinitely for other players in multiplayer.
