Prismatic armor is a craftable post-Moon Lord armor set crafted from Armored Shells, Exodium Clusters, Divine Geodes, and Nanites. If the entire set is visible (regardless of whether it is equipped or in social slots), the player will have a faint pulsing aura.

It consists of a Prismatic Helmet, Prismatic Regalia, and Prismatic Greaves.

The full set grants the following stats and bonuses (this includes the set bonus):

• 72 defense
• 60% decreased non-magic damage
• 40% increased magic damage
• 39% increased magic critical strike chance
• +20 max life and +80 max mana
• 15% decreased mana usage
• Increased mana regeneration by 9
• 2% increased jump speed
• 10% increased flight time
• While no bosses are alive, any enemy with less than 500 max health deals no contact damage to the player.
• Magic attacks have a chance to fire a pair of homing explosive rockets which explode for 80% of the projectile's damage and are softcapped at 200 damage.
• Pressing Armor Set Bonus will cause lasers to rain down at the cursor for 5 seconds. The lasers behave identically to the Deathhail Staff, dealing 30 magic damage along with inflicting the On Fire! and Frostburn debuffs. It has a 30-second cooldown after its usage.

• 2.0.3.007: Fixed its rockets inheriting the effects of the highest priority rocket in the player's inventory.

• 1.5.1.001: Removed Prismatic Cooldown debuff; it now appears on the cooldown rack.

• 1.5.0.001:
  • Buffed Prismatic Helmet magic damage boost from 8% to 18%.
  • Prismatic Regalia now has a static 20% chance to fire homing rockets instead of a random chance between 1% and 80%.
  • Nerfed set bonus laser base damage from 50 to 30.
