Rimehound

The Tundra Leash is a Pre-Hardmode mount summoning item that is obtained from the Snow biome shrine. When used, it summons a Rimehound mount which acts similarly to the Basilisk summoned by the Ancient Horn but is much slower. The Rimehound is capable of moving at a speed of 33 mph horizontally and can reach 41 while moving vertically. Like the Basilisk, it can charge enemies and deals 50 damage upon contact. This damage can be increased by summoner bonuses.

While horizontally moving at over half the mount's maximum run speed (16 mph), player damage reduction is increased by 10%. This is calculated independently from normal DR and is not affected by Calamity's DR scaling system.

Trivia

• The buff's description is a reference to the Rimehound's previous name: the Angry Dog.
