The Spadefish is a Pre-Hardmode pickaxe that can be fished up in the underground layer with a 2.5% chance. It can mine up to Gold Ore and Platinum Ore. Though it has a very low pickaxe power, its mining speed is higher than most other pickaxes of its tier.

Its best modifier is Light for harvesting purposes and Legendary for combat purposes.

Trivia

• The Spadefish has the lowest pickaxe power of any pickaxe in either vanilla or Calamity, requiring four hits to break a Stone Block.
